It is primarily addressed to property owners, landlords and property management companies who get in touch with us.

2. Data we process

a) Data collected automatically when you visit the website
For technical reasons, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically collects so-called server log files transmitted by your browser, e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type and operating system. This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources.

b) Data you actively provide to us
If you contact us via the website or by email (e.g. using the enquiry form), we receive the information you provide, usually your name, contact details (email, phone) and information about your property. You can contact us via the enquiry form on this website, directly by email, by phone or via WhatsApp. When you submit the form, your details (first name, last name, email, optionally phone number and location of the property, your message and the language selected for the form) are sent as an email to our address info@swissgard-apartments.ch via our hosting provider’s server and our email service (Google Workspace). They are not stored in a database on the website. The required fields and your consent are necessary for us to process your enquiry. To protect against automated requests (spam), the form contains invisible technical checks; no third-party services are used for this. The selected form language is stored only in your browser (local storage) so that the form appears in this language again on your next visit.

4. Disclosure of data, services used

We do not pass on your data to third parties for advertising purposes. To provide the website and for our communication, we use the following service providers, who may have technical access to data in the process:

• Hosting: Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd. or affiliated group companies) – operation of the web server and forwarding of the information from the enquiry form to our email service.
• Fonts: This website loads the fonts “Work Sans”, “Bebas Neue” and “Oswald”. The font files are stored on our hosting provider’s server; no connection to Google is established when the page is loaded.
• Email communication and enquiry form: Our business correspondence and the receipt of the information submitted via the enquiry form are handled via Google Workspace. Data you provide by email or via the form is therefore processed on Google’s infrastructure.
• WhatsApp: On the website you will find a link that allows you to contact us via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Business, provider: WhatsApp Ireland Limited or Meta Platforms). WhatsApp only opens when you click the link; simply visiting the website does not transmit any data to WhatsApp. If you write to us via WhatsApp, your phone number, your profile name and the content of your messages are processed on the infrastructure of WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp’s privacy policy also applies. If you do not want this, please contact us by email or phone.

5. Disclosure abroad

In connection with the services mentioned in section 4 (Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and possibly the hosting infrastructure), it cannot be ruled out that data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland, including the USA. Where this is the case, we rely on the safeguards provided by the respective providers to protect your data (e.g. standard contractual clauses or comparable mechanisms).

We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to answer your enquiry, to carry out any cooperation or to comply with statutory retention obligations.

7. Cookies and analytics tools

This website currently does not use any cookies or any analytics, tracking or advertising tools.

8. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you have the right to request information about the personal data we process and to request its correction, deletion, restriction of processing or surrender, provided the legal requirements are met. To exercise these rights, an informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
